GLAS (Green, Low-Carbon, Agri-Environmental Scheme)

GLAS (Green, Low-carbon, Agri-Environmental Scheme) was opened in Febuary 2015 and aimed to improve the rural environment through preserving species and habitats, reducing climate change and improving water quality. There has been 3 tranches of the Scheme since 2015.

OCAE has worked closely with many client farmers in the past to access all three tranches of this agri-environmental scheme. All tranches are now closed for new applicants. However, OCAE continue to complete the annual GLAS records for clients.
