The Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine have announced the Fodder
Support Scheme to incentivise and support farmers to grow sufficient grass and
conserve sufficient fodder (silage and / or hay) for the 2022 winter.
Payment is up to €100 per hectare up to a maximum of 10 hectares.
Closing date for the scheme is 2nd of August 2022.
